Rooted in simplicity, beauty, and community, Seaside’s coastal charm helped shape the vision for Tupelo. But this collaboration is about more than just shared values; it’s about solving a real problem.
A Real Problem, A Real Solution
The collaboration between Tupelo and Seaside was born out of necessity. Seaside, known for its immaculate beauty and commitment to excellence, faced a real challenge: their outdoor furniture wasn’t standing up to the elements. Saltwater, sand, and heavy foot traffic were wreaking havoc on their existing pieces. Hardware rusted, poly-based wood split and became grimy, and the constant maintenance demands were taking time away from enhancing the guest experience.

Seaside needed something different—something that could endure the harsh coastal environment of the Florida Panhandle— without compromising on design or function. That’s where Tupelo came in.
Our furniture is crafted from marine-grade polyethylene, a material that withstands salt, sun, and sand with unmatched durability. It doesn’t rust, split, or hold onto dirt. It’s beautifully designed yet effortlessly low-maintenance. It was the perfect solution for Seaside’s problem.
Testing the Waters
Seaside put our products to the ultimate test: an entire year under the relentless Florida sun, surrounded by saltwater and heavy use. Our furniture didn’t just survive—it thrived. It maintained its beauty, its strength, and its effortless functionality.
After seeing the results firsthand, Seaside made a bold move. They replaced all the outdoor furniture in communal spaces with Tupelo pieces. From the amphitheater to the adult pool, the family pool, the west side pool, and even the Tennis Center, our designs are now part of Seaside’s landscape.
