FRESCO FRIDAYS: Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

Treating dad to a homemade meal this weekend? We’ve got the perfect steak night recipe for you to whip up for a special Father’s Day spent at home — if he’ll let you touch his grill, that is.

With just a handful of ingredients and minimal grill experience, you can impress the special dad in your life with this delicious, seasonal recipe.


Grilled Steak & Chimichurri Sauce


  • 4 Ny Steak Strips Seasoned with 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, seasoning salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Massage in meat and marinade for 30 minutes up to 1 day in the refrigerator. 

Chimichurri Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Bunch Parsley
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic Chopped Fine
  • 1 Tablespoon of Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • Dash of Garlic Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Cracked Pepper 
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Dash of Chili Flakes

For Chimichurri:

  • Hand Chop Parsley fine then add garlic, vinegar, oil, garlic salt, cracked pepper, chili flakes, and sea salt


  • Heat grill on high heat. Place steaks on for 4-5 minutes and then lower heat and flip. Internal temperature is 135 for medium rare. Slice and place on serving platter and layer chimichurri sauce on top of steak.
